What we fabricate
- Flashing packages — hand-soldered pans; window/door caps; straight and curved band flashing; valleys; terminations; pitch pans; accessories, all clearly labeled.
- Radius & elliptical work — window and door caps, curved pans, domes/eyebrows, crown and cornice profiles.
- Ornate Windscreens and Chimney Caps
- Leader heads, scuppers, louvers & vents — functional water management with period-correct or contemporary profiles.
- Cladding & panels — copper siding, accent panels, column wraps, and architectural trims.
- Range/stove hoods & countertops — custom shells and trims sized to your liner/blower; living or sealed finishes.
- Ornamental details — finials, trims, and reproduction pieces for restoration.
If you bring a plan, a photo, or a good sketch, we can make it.
Methods that matter
- Hand-soldered seams where water wins (valleys, inside corners, pans) for long-term, watertight performance.
- Double-lock standing seam for historic and complex roofs (when we’re fabricating panels or detailing a system with your roofer).
- Forming accuracy for radius/elliptical work so parts fit on site without fighting the metal.
Materials & finishes
- Copper tempers selected by application — often eighth-hard for standing seam strength/workability; soft copper for intricate shaping and radius.
- Thickness specified per element and exposure.
- Lead-coated copper available where the historical look calls for it.
- Finishes — bright, brushed, pre-patinated looks, or left to age naturally. (Indoors, copper is naturally antimicrobial—great for kitchens.)
How we work (builders, architects, designers, owners)
- Send inputs — drawings or a field sketch with dimensions, plus site photos.
- Clarify details — quick call to confirm methods, temper/thickness, and any tricky transitions.
- Shop drawings (as needed) — we can draft details so everyone’s aligned before metal is cut.
- Fabricate, label, crate — each part labeled and bundled for straightforward installation.
- Coordinate — we work with your roofer/GC; installation is performed by your field team.
Lead time: typically 2–6 weeks from approved drawings and deposit (complex radius/ornamental work may require more time). Shipping: crated and protected; we ship nationwide.
Who this is for
- Custom home builders & GCs needing full flashing packages or one-off copper elements.
- Architects & designers specifying historically correct details or signature copper features.
- Preservation projects requiring faithful reproduction and long service life.
- Homeowners with a specific vision (range hood, countertop, chimney screen/cap, or architectural accents).
